PASTOR JEFF LINCOLN POORMAN
Born August 1963, since birth., God has a plan. For his life., became saved at 8 years of age. He had a strong desire to pursue evangelism for the Church of God of Prophecy. This faith-based organisation to which he was brought up under the tutelage of his parents Bishop T F Poorman, and Mrs kathleen M Poorman, He was always an adventurous person seeking for answers outside the box.
He has always been intrigued by the factors of church development and growthInitiatives.
One of the struggles that he encountered was religion and culture, between these two factors was the fight for identity.
As a protest around the two factors, he had to face, he turned his attention to the biblical response which was the Business / purpose of Man and the Kingdom of heaven.
Indeed, the concept to fuse business and faith into a Kingdom experience is alifestyle That engage a different type of nationality mentality; Mat 6:10 Yourkingdom come. Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Pastor Jeff Started this ministry firstly in London, the surroundings counties and cities and later other countries
Following this the call of God took him to work for business and church plant in France, Belgium, Italy, Poland, Spain and Malta, India, Mexico South America, Ukraine and Brazil.
Malta, Pastor Jeff was one of the founders of the Pentecostal church in Malta.
In Malta he ministered to the Diplomat who received a great miracle and salvation, later he was also arrested in Malta for declaring (by fax) of “breaking Malta for Jesus”, later was pardoned and released by the President of Malta and from then the Maltese government supported his ministry, also by offering a 3-story building in front on the palace as a gift in Valetta.
He had the privilege to minister to a convent in Malta children’s home (orphanage), all in all He says church of ministry must be fun place to be, but there is always a price to pay.
After minister in several other countries, he married to Mrs. Guadalupe Enriquez Poorman (Lupita, for short) and has 4 wonderful children and 2 grandchildren.
Today He has founded a ministry / charity called The Outreach Ministry, where Business and People of faith come together to seek after the kingdom of Heaven, this is where everyone despite nationality, language or ethnicity.
Pastor remembered he served in ministry in Ukraine, before the war and during the war activities, He remembered a community hiding him in a small house, the lady of the house asked pastor Jeff if he want to drink coffee, he replied yes. She took a kettle and ran through sniper fire and came back with hot water, happy to serve coffee, later when he left that region the Russians bombed and destroyed that house, the price she paid, just to survive.
Mat 6:28 “And why would you worry about your clothing? Look at all the beautiful flowers of the field. They don’t work or toil,
Mat 6:29 and yet not even Solomon in all his splendor was robed in beauty more than one of these!
Mat 6:30 So if God has clothed the meadow with hay, which is here for such a short time and then dried up and burned, won’t he provide for you the clothes you need—even though you live with such little faith?
Mat 6:31 “So then, forsake your worries! Why would you say, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’
Mat 6:32 For that is what the unbelievers chase after. Doesn’t your heavenly Father already know the things your bodies require?
Mat 6:33 “So above all, constantly chase after the realm of God’s kingdom and the righteousness that proceeds from him. Then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly.
Mat 6:34 Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself.”
